NY Music Month: Making Money With Music Seminar #2

June 23 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Long-time industry professionals, Electronic Musician Magazine columnists, authors, and MFM members Randy Chertkow and Jason Feehan take musicians step-by-step through proven techniques for establishing steady revenue streams in today’s music business.

Bring your laptop, tablet, or phone to this hands-on workshop with actionable steps for musician audience members to add revenue streams in real-time, right there during the talk.

Through a series of 5-10 minute labs and an electronic Making Money With Music Revenue Stream Worksheet Packet providing links, resources, and clear “to-do” items, musicians will come away from the workshop creating multiple, parallel income streams on-the-spot and the knowledge to maximize the amount of money they can make. Plus, with the packet, they can continue to work on tapping revenue streams after the session so they enhance their music business. Some of the topics covered in the labs include: making sure you can get paid, customer segmentation product and merch selection, merch-on-demand, affiliate sales, royalties, advanced digital distribution, making money at your live events, and much more.

This event is made free to the public by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment as part of NY Music Month.
