NY Music Month: Making Money With Music Seminar #1

June 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

NY MUSIC MONTH

It’s easier than ever to record, distribute, and market your own music today, but what about actually making money?

Long-time industry professionals, Electronic Musician Magazine columnists, authors and MFM members Randy Chertkow and Jason Feehan  take musicians step-by-step through proven techniques for establishing steady revenue streams in today’s music business. This seminar covers how to tap and boost over 40 revenue streams while minimizing the money they spend. This includes 17 ways to start a music business for $0. Topics include: making sure you can get paid, worldwide digital distribution, collecting royalties, making money from merchandise, generating licensing opportunities for film, TV, trailers, and advertising, crowdfunding, patronage, and much more.

This event is made free to the public by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment as part of NY Music Month.
